There's plenty of action going on here—including a few pretty decent hand-to-hand fights—but that can't overcome a thin plot and confusingly-crowded cast. The special effects are generally pretty decent, aside from obviously-CGI gunfire, and that helps salvage things a little bit. Overall, it's a reasonably adequate action movie, but it won't wow you. There are plenty of other, better recent action films if that's what you're after.
