Many critics have slammed Allied for trying too hard to capture the magic of Casablanca. Well, good thing I haven't seen Casablanca, because I loved Allied! The chemistry between Pitt and Cotillard, the intense drama, and the World War II backdrop kept me hooked from start to finish.
