Doctor Sleep brilliantly bridges the gap between Stephen King’s original work and Stanley Kubrick’s iconic adaptation of The Shining, thanks to Mike Flanagan’s thoughtful direction. This film stands out as one of my favorite sequels and for me has earned its place among the top 10 horror classics. Flanagan’s ability to honor both interpretations while crafting a compelling narrative is truly impressive
