Moonrunners

Moonrunners
Grady and Bobby Lee run moonshine for Uncle Jesse, who prides himself on his old-school moonshining methods, and refuses to buckle in to the 'big business moonshine' of Jake, who controls these parts for New York mobsters.

Laying down the groundwork for The Dukes of Hazzard, Moonrunners doesn't leave much of a legacy beyond being Dukes' scrappy prototype. Moonshine-running Americana, outlaw charm, and Southern-fried hijinks ensue. Only real complaint is its pacing, it drags and could had benefit from twenty minutes slimmed down. Great enough to give a try and see what greater things came from it on top of that there are some great car chases which I am always a sucker for.
