Great animation. A simple plot but well executed. Good backstories for all the characters including the villain and I kinda like how they reimagined Splinter. I liked the score and music too. At the start of the movie I didn’t know how to feel about the humour and references being catered more for the Gen Z audience but eventually it got me on board. The individual personalities of the turtles, especially their unique weapon fighting style didn’t shine as much as I’d hoped. Overall I enjoyed this movie and really looking forward to the tv series and sequel they got planned. So glad the TMNT franchise is still being shown so much love in 2023.
