A boy preacher named Isaac goes to Gatlin, Nebraska and gets all the children to murder every adult in town. A young couple on a road trip stop in Gatlin to report a murder and seek help, but the town seems deserted. They are soon trapped in Gatlin with little chance of getting out alive.

Absolutely love this film- all the complaints it's "dull" and "boring" couldn't be any more wrong. Terrifying kids, cults are terrifying, and so is the Midwest. A lot of my love is probably blinded by nostalgia and I have no shame in that. I grew up in the Midwest, Bible Belt, and surrounded by corn. Children of the Corn was one of my first horror movies I ever experienced and I just adore the poster. I've even gone as far to see the entire franchise.
