Very much style over substance, to the degree that it feels like most sequences are designed not to necessarily further the story, but instead to link to a another graphical display… some of which are less than magnificent (de-aged Bridges being the obvious example). And it’s not just that the story makes very little (and I mean VERY little) sense, it’s more that the writers are quite content with that. However, with all of that said, it is still quite entertaining. There’s a heavy Nazi Germany leaning, which makes the good vs evil all that easier to jump onboard with, and want our protagonists to succeed. Overall, more artificial than intelligent, but fun nonetheless.
