This is one of the best trilogies I've seen. Rarely do films progressively get better, but that's exactly what this film does!
Andy Serkis is so fucking good. The emotional weight I feel and invest in is unreal. I don't know where to begin with my love for this film/franchise. The payoff for a the trilogy is here. I watched on the edge of my seat the entire time. Fearful for what will come next for our beloved apes. Woody Harrelson was understandble for his savage ways, but at the same time I wanted Cesar to rip his head off. That is what makes a great villain.
The cinematography is breathtaking. The score is also utilized to maximum potential. The music plays a heavy role is moments when it's just the apes signing or as events are going down. Matt Reeves directed this movie masterfully and am ecstatic that he'll be directing the new batman. Even though everything is wrapped up perfectly. I would love to see more stories in this universe.
