It all started when I randomly came across a scene on social media that featured Rumi and Jinu. Something about that moment sparked my interest—maybe because I hadn’t watched an animated movie in such a long time. Honestly, I usually find animated films a bit boring; I’ve always preferred stories with real, human characters over fictional or non-existent ones. But the moment I saw Jinu, he caught my attention. Something about him made me curious.
So I thought, why not give it a try? I could even watch it with my little sister—she’s just nine—and it felt like something we could enjoy together. And I’m so glad I did. The movie turned out to be so much more than I expected.
The entire group—both the girls and the boys—was fantastic. Their stories were interesting and fun, and the friendships, especially among the girls, were heartwarming. But the songs... oh my god, the songs! I didn’t expect to love them that much. Honestly, they were even better than some real K-pop group songs I’ve heard. Catchy, emotional, and powerful—they added so much life to the story.
And of course, Rumi and Jinu. Their scenes together were everything. I found myself wishing for more of them—more moments, more chemistry, more story. Sadly, in the end, Jinu died saving Rumi—a small spoiler, but it truly broke my heart. His sacrifice was beautiful, and it made the ending hit even harder.
All in all, "K-Pop: Demon Hunters" was a surprisingly emotional and magical experience. It brought something new to the table, and I’m so glad I gave it a chance. It wasn’t just a movie—it was a memory I got to share with my sister, and I’ll always hold on to that.
