American Grand Prix driver Pete Aron is fired by his Jordan-BRM racing team after a crash at Monaco that injures his British teammate, Scott Stoddard. While Stoddard struggles to recover, Aron begins to drive for the Japanese Yamura team, and becomes romantically involved with Stoddard's estranged wife.

I had not watched this movie for a very long time but saw a James Garner interview and sourced a copy. The plot is based around Formular One the drivers and the families it affects. It has breakneck action sequences with thrilling conclusions. I really liked the use of wider angle shots and the use of multi screens to highlight both the actions and consequences played out. I strongly recommend watching this on the biggest TV or projector to see it in all its glory.
