An interesting and important movie that felt like an after school special.
It's hokey and predictable, but that doesn't stop it from being an enjoyable journey. Everyone's acting is great all around in this stacked cast. At times the film slogged though, sitting through numbers being read consistently can be boring. Some of the side characters are complete through aways as well. The look and the behavior of time period seemed spot on. Lastly the music did a good job on making contemporary fit in with the time period. This historic tale is worth a watch. It might be better suited for catching at home.
