The son of Earth's most powerful superhero is about to become something greater than himself: something bold, something universal, something - Invincible. From the comics to the screen, Invincible follows Mark Grayson's journey of becoming Earth's next great defender after his father, Nolan Grayson: also known as Omni-Man.

I read the entire comic series a few years before the show came out, and generally, I am very impressed with this adaptation. Of course, the big improvement is getting to see these stories and fights in motion, but they also do an excellent job of streamlining and condensing the story. They make good use of foreshadowing now that the entire story is laid out for them, and they adapt both fights and visual gags well to animation. For the first 2 seasons in particular, I really wished that Amazon had offered a higher budget to this team for animation. It is done well, but you can tell they couldn't really show off until the third. The first season in particular also suffers from some poor adaptive choices. Efforts to improve the characters of Amber and Wayne were heavy-handed and off-putting, and certain scenes in the third season read as studio execs adding notes to insert more "representation" without adding much actual substance. Your tastes for these sort of things will vary.
