⭐ – 10 Rules for Sleeping Around – All Talk, No Chemistry 10 Rules for Sleeping Around tries to be a clever comedy about open relationships and modern hookup culture, but it misses every mark it aims for. What could’ve been a cheeky look at temptation and honesty instead becomes a parade of tired jokes, shallow characters, and tone-deaf “rules” that no one needed to hear in the first place. The cast is filled with familiar faces from early-2000s teen dramas — Tammin Sursok among them — but even their charm can’t rescue the material. The film feels like it was made by people who skimmed a few magazine articles on dating and thought that counted as social commentary. The result is a clumsy attempt at being sexy and smart, but it’s neither. Jesse Bradford, who once showed promise in Bring It On and Swimfan, seems stranded here, lost in a script that mistakes noise for wit. There’s no spark, no chemistry, just a lot of running around trying to justify a title that promised far more mischief than it delivers. It’s a vapid story about a vapid subject — a film so hollow it might echo if you tap it. Watch it once if you must, but don’t expect to remember a single frame. 🍸 Pairing: A warm flat cocktail — flashy name, cheap ingredients, and an aftertaste you’ll regret before the night’s even over.
