Will always love Bill Burr as a standup, think he is one of the best to ever do it. His style, his ability to
win over even the most hostile of crowds, his delivery, voices, storytelling, all 10/10.
I can’t tell if he has been in LA a bit too long now or if it’s just his contrarian instincts, but his “voice” was quite a bit more…LA politically, which in turn had some of the material sounding less novel, since most comedians are coming from that POV.
This was my least favorite of his specials, but like pizza or a BJ, even when it’s a little off…it’s still pretty damn good!
