An 80's Canon Group film, J. Lee Thompson, Chuck Norris- everything here to make this great. Yet it's not.
Firewalker is confusing in its tone. There are a number of situations and lines that feel geared towards kids but other content that is too serious, yet doesn't deliver that extra punch 80's action films encapsulate. The whole runtime feels like a nonstop mess jumping from one boring scenario to the next without ever really giving the time to build up to something or care about a character.
Firewalker isn't bad, it's just boring.
