In Venice a detective is on the trail of a killer who commits a double murder (a married couple) then more grisly killings occur. Sex, drugs, gore and perversions are ingredients of this sadistic and sleazy giallo.

Notorious picture for the depraved, wasn't as grimy as I anticipated. Actually a little on the slow side- much of the time is softcore-ish sexy time and procedural police investigation.
Within the first ten seconds though is an immediate slaying of a couple, no warm up into the film or anything so you expect worse. The body count is low, other than the couple I believe there's only three other murders but these three kill scenes are super gruesome! Take what you will with that information but those three kill scenes are what saves this from being a bore.
Giallo in Venice has the incredible poster art with that hacksaw but it's the pair of scissors you won't be forgetting anytime soon.
