This is pure popcorn entertainment—light-hearted, action-packed, and not overly concerned with depth or awards. Chris Evans shines as a slightly snarky antihero, leaning into his charm and wit, while Dwayne Johnson…well, plays Dwayne Johnson, bringing his usual charisma and larger-than-life persona.
While it doesn’t break any new ground, Red One has enough energy, humor, and festive fun to keep viewers entertained. This film will be popular with people who like Hobbs & Shaw, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, or Klaus.
