A compelling premise and promising start utterly squandered by lazy horror writing and a script phoned in from an international dial-up connection. Never mind the typical slasher movie trope of adults that simply act like children, the main characters of this show are literally adult children.
The original Alien movies were great because the cast was competent and faced a grim adversary worthy of respect... Somewhere along the way it seems they figured viewers would rather just see horrific monstrisities vivisect a cast of hapless cretins instead.
