Doom Patrol

Doom Patrol
The Doom Patrol’s members each suffered horrible accidents that gave them superhuman abilities — but also left them scarred and disfigured. Traumatized and downtrodden, the team found purpose through The Chief, who brought them together to investigate the weirdest phenomena in existence — and to protect Earth from what they find.

Never heard of this one before, just stumbled into it and got hooked.
It’s bizarre in the best way. A team of misfits with trauma, powers and zero PR polish.
Robotman swears like a sailor, Crazy Jane has 64 personalities (each with its own power) and Negative Man is wrapped in bandages and guilt. Then there’s Danny the Street, a sentient, teleporting, genderqueer street that communicates via shop signs and hosts drag shows.
That’s when I knew the show wasn’t just weird, it was brilliant.
It’s not your typical superhero fare. It’s messy, emotional and full of surreal moments.
The villains are just as strange, Mr. Nobody literally breaks the fourth wall and narrates his own chaos.
Watched it on Amazon, expecting camp. Got depth, heartbreak and a sentient cockroach with a god complex.
