A wholly original celebration of community lifting each other up, breaking bread, and harmonizing in song together—yet still manages to be a backwoods heist, epic, crime/revenge thriller. Incredibly moving film with a stellar performance from McConaughey and an incredible debut feature for Angelina LookingGlass. I was moved many times over by moments this film has to offer. It’s very early, but this is one of the best films of the year.
