Superposition

Superposition
The creative couple Stine and Teit and their young son Nemo leave their urban life in Copenhagen behind in favour of an isolated forest in Sweden, where they hope to find themselves as individuals.

A Danish couple decide to unplug and spend a year off grid in the Swedish. Hoping to escape the stresses of everyday day life, and repair some cracks in their relationship they plan to document their yearlong experiment on a podcast. They pledge to be 100% open so that they can rediscover themselves….finding themselves is exactly what happens. Described as a metaphysical thriller, Superposition reminded me of Coherence, and to a lesser extent Jordan Peele’s Us. The tension gradually builds effectively as the couple settles into their forest home, but somewhat fizzles at it’s conclusion.
