I just realized that watching Transformers as a kid really influenced my opinion on it. Looking back now, I see how flawed it actually is. Sure, it's pretty cool, I mean, it's about cool cars transforming into even cooler robots. But beyond that, the plot is nothing original, and some scenes don’t even make the slightest sense. Overall, it’s just a movie I glorified as a kid, and that nostalgic impression stuck with me. Seen through adult eyes, it’s an okay film with a cool concept, but nothing particularly special. Considering all of that, it's worth a rewatch if you want to be disappointed by how much your childhood impression differs from reality.
