Romeo & Juliet

Romeo & Juliet
Romeo and Juliet secretly wed despite the sworn contempt their families hold for each other. It is not long, however, before a chain of fateful events changes the lives of both families forever.

The film lacked the heat and romance needed to believe in their love, def felt more like two tweens enamoured by the idea of love over being enamored by each other, which is a point of the original play. Steinfield played Juliet very well, so I'm puzzled at the critics that singled out her performance as worse than Romeo's/ than the rest of the cast.
Nothing too out of the ordinary. DiCaprio's Romeo and Juliet is better for your time but this one is a good second choice.
