The movie is gripping, crisp and concise. I watched this move in the comforts of my home on Netflix and I guess this made it more exciting and i sat completely engrossed in the movie. I think it is one of those movies that is best for individual (or at home) viewing experience. It was an all out Sandra Bullock movie and she doesn't miss a beat! Once you give in to the notion of this ominous unseen evilness along with assumptions of its powers and limitations the movie is pretty interesting.
It swings back and fort between the 1st time the attack (calamity/ mass suicides.. or whatever you wanna call) happened and 5 years later where Malorie (Sandra Bullock) is living a survivor's secluded life with 2 kids and her Bf/ husband (not clear) Tom , played convincingly by Trevante Rhodes.
Its a good weekend watch and will not disappoint you if you enjoy psychological thrillers and Sandra Bullock performances!
