“But in order to survive, you have to be more than what you were programmed to be” BRO. WHERE DO I START 😭😭 I’m ugly crying over it, I literally just finished it The first time I clicked it, I did watch everything-I skipped-cause it eventually got boring for me but right now!! the second time I watched it, it was just chef kiss, I was eating chinese take out on a cozy, rainy day The perfect moment dare I say, but let me now get carried away. To start, I know the reason why it made me cry-It was about motherhood-the first part of the movie was the robot adjusting to it’s environment (main point: learning the animals language) then, it found it’s egg. I think it’s important to highlight that Roz experienced maturity and learned how to override its code by motherhood!! It was such an important message the scene where Roz spoked with the Possum asking how it can be a mother created such a delicate and touching moment, it also produced the thought that “in motherhood, nobody teached you, u just learn and grow with them” as Roz and BrightBill grew, I was also fond of the scenes where Brightbill had some sort of grudge towards Roz since he thought he was never supposed to be raised by her. It’s the misunderstanding that creates depth to their character, it also relates to motherhood in a way that, Roz was the one who stood up through the moments needed most, even if she’s seen it as a task only. But what brought it all together was the winter scene where everybody was together! them being brought together by the weather and the scene where Fink spoke up and said “the monster, you all look down upon, stole from…etc, was the one who saved all of you” and it was seen in that seen the unity of their community (animal kingdom) where everybody didn’t attack each other. The scene too where the forest was on fire and they needed the tree from paddler (We love Paddler! btw) and it’s just a touching scene -The Wild Robot-you will never be forgotten, so many epic scenes to talk about, definitely the years coco (for me)! 💖
