A film with dialogue so 'good' it's terrible.
Dated beyond repair, this feels like the inspiration for the parody classic Police Squad/The Naked Gun but it now has the danger of becoming unintentionally funnier due it's grating schlock wittyness.
It still seems to rank in on the upper-quarters of 'best of' lists but hopefully more for its impact and influence rather than anything else.
Avoid...or at least watch while doing something else.
