Her

Her
In the not so distant future, Theodore, a lonely writer, purchases a newly developed operating system designed to meet the user's every need. To Theodore's surprise, a romantic relationship develops between him and his operating system. This unconventional love story blends science fiction and romance in a sweet tale that explores the nature of love and the ways that technology isolates and connects us all.

A truly unique and original science fiction film.
Simply brilliant and thought provoking, making you think about a reality that's right around the corner. While Sci-Fi, it somehow doesn't seem outside the realm of possibility. I found this an amazing portrait of loneliness, the need of others, as well as freedom, exploring the themes of human interaction, emotional ranges of humans, the concept of love, companionship, loneliness, physical touch and so much more.
Another fantastic performance by Jaoquin Phoenix, who delivers such a powerful and emotional experience.
The cinematography throughout was literally beautiful. The colours!
The score in incredible!
The film was paced perfectly and didn't drag at all.
'Her' had a really interesting message about relationships, with a much deeper meaning that lies beneath the surface.
Definitely check this one out.
Highly recommended and is well worth seeing.
