Tom and Jerry Blast Off to Mars!

Tom and Jerry Blast Off to Mars!
While carrying on their usual hi-jinks, they inadvertantly stow-away on a spaceship bound for Mars. They meet up with the local Martian residents and cause them to invade the Earth, aided by the "Invincitron", a vacuum-wielding giant robot. Tom, Jerry and their Martian ally, Peep, save the day.

I just watched Tom and Jerry: Blast Off to Mars! and I give it 4.5 out of 5 stars. This movie is wild. It’s everything you expect from a Tom and Jerry adventure — the nonstop chasing, the slapstick chaos, the funny sound effects — but cranked way up and set in outer space. It’s ridiculous in all the right ways. The whole thing feels like someone asked, “What if we took the world’s most famous cat and mouse and launched them into orbit?” And honestly? It totally works.
Right from the beginning, it’s classic Tom and Jerry. They’re running around causing trouble, breaking stuff, and getting into a mess that quickly spirals way out of control. Only this time, instead of just wrecking a house, they end up in a top-secret space lab, accidentally get launched into space, and find themselves… on Mars. Yeah, it’s that kind of movie. It doesn’t need to make perfect sense — it’s just here to be fun, fast, and full of chaos.
What makes this one stand out is how much creativity they pack into the outer space setting. The designs of the Mars landscapes, alien characters, and spaceships are all super fun to look at. The Martians are weird and funny, the colors are bright and bold, and it’s just one big cartoon rollercoaster from start to finish. You never know what kind of crazy invention or alien chase is coming next — and that’s what makes it so entertaining.
Tom and Jerry don’t talk — like always — but you don’t need them to. The facial expressions, the music, the timing of every fall and crash — it’s all perfect. You can tell the animators knew exactly how to bring that classic cartoon energy into a bigger, sci-fi adventure without losing what makes Tom and Jerry work. There are so many good moments, from laser chases to zero-gravity fights, and it somehow all fits together even when it’s totally absurd.
The supporting characters in this one are solid too. The human scientists, the Martians, and even a giant Martian monster all add layers to the mayhem. Everyone is just trying to either stop Tom and Jerry or survive them, and that formula never gets old. There’s a little bit of a plot involving Earth being in danger and Mars reacting to the chaos, but let’s be real — the real star of the show is the cartoon destruction.
The pacing is great. It moves quickly, never gets boring, and always has something ridiculous going on. It’s one of those movies that doesn’t waste any time — as soon as something calms down, another chase or explosion kicks off. Whether you’re a kid or just someone who grew up with these two, it’s super easy to enjoy.
I give Tom and Jerry: Blast Off to Mars! 4.5 out of 5 stars because it’s creative, chaotic, and just plain fun. It’s a fresh take on a classic duo that manages to keep all the original charm while throwing them into one of the weirdest adventures ever — and somehow, it works perfectly. Overall Blast Off to Mars! is a fast, funny, outer space cartoon adventure that shows just how far Tom and Jerry can go literally. If you’re a fan of classic animation and want something that’s pure cartoon energy from start to finish, this is an easy win.
