19-year-old Billy Lynn is brought home for a victory tour after a harrowing Iraq battle. Through flashbacks, the film shows what really happened to his squad - contrasting the realities of war with America's perceptions.

Ang Lee threw 8 interceptions and was sacked in the end zone when making this film. This is a massive misfire! I don't think I've ever cringed as many times as I did, then in this movie. The acting is atrocious and unbelievable. Dare I say it, the only performance that I actually kind a liked was the cheerleader and Kristen Stewart. The bravo squad is made up of people who've never acted in their life. It's impossible to get behind any of the characters. Let's talk about the Super Bowl. I understand that they weren't going to pay for the licensing for NFL teams or to actually get Beyoncé, but man this was laughably bad. From the empty stadium at times, to people being able to drive up to inside the gate, for a cheerleader to be able to leave the Super Bowl game to come say goodbye in the fourth quarter, to people that work the crew would try multiple times to engage in a brawl with war veterans. This is ridiculous! The storytelling at least wasn't lied about. That walk to half time is a long boring sludge. Worth noting the brother and sister have a very weird friendship. Also didn't know it was possible to fall in love and want to be with somebody forever within five minutes of meeting them. Watch the trailer, download the great song, never watch this garbage fire of a movie!
