Went in expecting a musical about the fascinating life of P.T. Barnum, ended up getting a trite, uninspired, on-the-nose social commentary about how bad bigotry is (way to break new ground with that one). Oh, and there was some fictional character using P.T. Barnum's name popping up occasionally.
