Simply wow.
An incredible anime with an overpowered main character, but what makes it stand out is that Frieren herself is a cool, distant, yet deeply lovable woman.
It’s such a refreshing change from the usual male leads in this genre, who are often loud, flashy, or surrounded by romance subplots.
Seeing a story driven by a fantastically written female character feels unique and powerful.
You could almost call Frieren the opposite of Ainz Ooal Gown — just as strong, but with a completely different presence. A beautiful, thoughtful series, and I can’t wait for season 2.
