A couple travels to Northern Europe to visit a rural hometown's fabled Swedish mid-summer festival. What begins as an idyllic retreat quickly devolves into an increasingly violent and bizarre competition at the hands of a pagan cult.

Everything before the plane is entirely unnecessary and could’ve been gotten across any number of ways quicker. The dialogue is awkward to the extent that I’m uncomfortable from second hand embarrassment more than the shock value. Pacing is atrocious. 4 hr directors cut?!?! I’d rather have been the dude inside the bear
