Started out decent enough and then free fell into a cringey, laughably bad, poorly acted, jump scare ridden, and boring movie. The only promising thing about this movie is Ellen Page and that only works for half the movie. Dealing with the rest of the generic and horrible characters for the rest of the film is brutal. It felt like this tries to be three things but marks F in every category. I should probably watch the original.
