Glimpses of his earlier career help explain both his hostility to previous manager Don Revie and how much he is missing right-hand man Peter Taylor who has loyally stayed with Brighton & Hove Albion.

Sheen did an incredible job of playing Clough. He was spot on with the way he acted and conducted interviews in the film.
Although there isn’t much footballing action towards the end of the film, it’s still super enjoyable diving deeper into Clough’s life and his mistakes.
This is a must watch for any footballing fan!
