It’s hard to tell exactly where The Perfume of the Lady in Black lost me. But the story never truly forms. Instead, it drifts along in a haze of fragmented flashbacks and potential hallucinations that rarely pays off. Waited for the film to begin moving somewhere and didn't until the last fifteen minutes.
