A natural extension of the familial themes explored in the first 2 movies. This time about found family there's an emotional core that I don't think even the first two movies got to. And while it takes one action scene too many there's earnest emotion and chemistry between Quinn and Nyong'o that make this a worthy addition to the franchise.
