My quick rating - 6.2/10. I mean, do I really have to do a review for this? You and I know exactly what you are going to get with this movie. It didn't surprise or disappoint in the slightest. Our hero looks great and clearly took a while to generate. The comedy was pretty good, although to set this apart, I wish they had used the obvious gigantic dog a bit better. Also, at times, his size seemed to fluctuate to fit the scene, but why am I being critical? It is definitely fun for the whole family to check out. I do wish that John Cleese had been used a bit more in this one, as his parts were the highlight of the show (minus the dog, especially when at puppy size). Still, Tony Hale played a fun and convincing bad guy without being too bad, and along the way, there are quite a few other nice appearances to add for comedic value. One to check out with the kiddos for sure.
