Code of Silence • Series 1

Alison Woods, deaf caterer, works to support her mother, and herself. Alison is asked by the police to lip-read conversations with dangerous criminals. Alison starts to fall for one of the suspects, but will not abandon the investigation.
Enjoyable series and good to see hard of hearing represented in main stream TV. Rose played the part very well as did all other main characters. From a realism perspective I think the police would of taken greater measures to ensure Alison was safe especially considering how vulnerable she is.
Renewed for a season 2 which I'm glad about as show has a lot of promise. The one thing that did take a bit of getting used to was the camera focused when being viewed from Alison's perspective
