Master thief Will Montgomery is just released from the State penitentiary after serving a 10 year sentence, is contacted by Vincent, his ex comrade in crime, who is holding Will’s teenage daughter ransom in a hijacked taxi cab. Vincent will only surrender her when Will reveals the whereabouts of the 20 million dollars he contrived to conceal from their last robbery.

I guess it isn't Marvel Universe like most reviewers here are insanely expecting it to be, but who listens to critics anyway. They rarely get it right in the first place. While it may not be the best movie Cage has ever played in, it is still an alright movie. If they had made it just a wee bit longer they probably could have put enough feminist agenda in it to satisfy most of these reviewers, seeing as how they love to berate anything that is not so, which they may or may not be paid for. But who cares what they say through their brainwashed MK lips, anyway.
