This was a really good underated movie. A lot of people seem to say the story was very confusing or didn't have any sort of sense. I do got to say for someone who hasn't seen the first one, is missing out on a lot of detail and lore of the predators and what makes them make the decisions that they make from getting rid of all of evidence that the aliens existed to killing innocent people. I will not spoil for anyone who hasn't watched this yet but for anyone who wants more sense of what is going on in the movie to watch at least the first Alien and Predator movies. Then I recommend watching the first Alien vs Predator movie before watching this one. This will help give background on each of the species on things like where did the aliens originate from and why are the predators the way that they are: making the moves and choices that they make.
This movie is very action-packed, gorey and brutal. I do not recommend this movie for the lightest of hearts as some scenes may be too gorey, brutal, or depressing. But for those who can take those moments of a horror sci-fi film and not it be "too much" for them: this is a really good movie for those who like nightmare-like horrors to ruthless gore and tragedies.
