When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, Carol's powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol's estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team up and learn to work in concert to save the universe.

Not really my favorite Marvel movie, and frankly, I have enjoyed very few since Avengers End Game. Despite this, The Marvels is still a solid watch though I'm glad I didn't pay to go see it in theaters. The cast and characters are great but the narrative and story was very weak. It seems the story only serves to push audiences to watch the next movie. The completed story doesn't seem rewarding, but that just might be the nature of comics that the good guys triump over evil. Captain Marvel and the rest of The Marvels deserve something more fulfilling and makes their characters grow and - despite being a fantasy - seem real. However, my expectations are always low for comic book movies/superhero movies, so it was just a fun adventure to turn off your mind and enjoy.
