It's original. Nice update to the folklore. Not sure I liked the ending, a bit more closure is needed in my book. Very much a "B" movie in a sub. Not sure about how small the crew and boat are, and two members still being able to hide an affair. Oh, and it's a co-ed sub. Not sure that's ever been tried. But hey, it's 2025, so maybe it's accurate.
