For anyone who lived through the 1960's, watching this series is a tremendous way to immerse yourself in the nostalgia of the decade, the fashions, the cars, the architecture, the decor, OMG the booze and cigarette culture, and yes of course the drugs.
I loved how historical events of the decade, and what a decade it was, were worked into storylines. Top-notch creative writing overall, I mean did you ever think you would see (spoiler alert) an incompetent secretary lose control of a riding lawnmower on the 35th story of a Manhattan skyscraper severing the foot of a corporate executive?
Lead actors, Jon Hamm and Elisabeth Moss, are superb in their respective roles as unforgettably complex Don Draper and little engine that could, Peggy Olson.
