People dick ride this anime too much and forget it's still a kids anime which limits it for a lot of people to enjoy. For me the characters are annoying 50% of the time but the story and art carry it so that I can ignore most of that.
Fights are cool and always end interestingly but there is so much yapping. I rarely say this but if you don't like it by season one finale you'll never like it.
