Akira is visually impressive, especially the animation during the motorcycle scenes, which really stood out to me. The art style and atmosphere pull you into its chaotic world, and it's easy to see how it influenced a lot of what came after. That said, I had a hard time following the story. Some parts felt rushed or unclear, and I found myself confused more than once. I know it’s a classic and was ahead of its time, but as a first-time viewer, I left feeling a bit lost even though I appreciated the film’s ambition and style.
