Ahhh the 60’s. Simpler times lol
Holy shit what a tight script. Perfects the three-act structure. Makes the 135 minute film fly by like nothing. Just no fat whatever in a straightforward narrative structure. Wonderfully complementary score! And I do not like country lol it even makes the boring countryside worthwhile!
Probably the most obvious thing I’ve said on here, but what phenomenal performances from an incredible cast. What casting! Cardellini, Faris, Harbour, Kate Mara! Just wow. It really lives up to the hype.
Absolutely batshit that RANDY QUAID was in a “progressive” mainstream film this late in his career.
