Silverado

Silverado
Big hearted Western with a stacked cast and a lot of charm.
Kevin Kline plays it cool, Scott Glenn brings quiet grit, Danny Glover adds real weight and Costner’s bouncing off the walls with wild energy.
They’re all different, but somehow it clicks.
The movie doesn’t try to be gritty, it’s more like a love letter to classic Westerns, with just enough edge to keep it fresh.
The story jumps around a bit, and not every subplot lands cleanly, but it’s got momentum. You’re here for the moments: dusty shootouts, sharp one liners and that final standoff that ties it all together.
It’s not trying to be deep, it’s trying to be fun and it is.
Definitely one of those Westerns that knows exactly what it’s doing and does it with style.
