A World War Two story about a squadron commanded by a young commander ,in New Guinea, whose mission it is to hold an air strip against the Japanese. They do so until almost all of them are wiped out, but not until the young commander has enjoyed a little romance with a visiting USO entertainer.

“Jungle Patrol” is a WWII drama set on a remote airfield in New Guinea, where one woman and a crew of men pass time in a single-room setting. The action happens offscreen, relayed over the radio. While a few character moments land, the film drags despite its short runtime. With its slow pacing and limited tension, it ultimately feels longer than it is.
