Don’t waste your time on “My Father the Hero.” It’s a lazy, painful remake of the 1991 classic “Mon père ce héros.” Sure, Gérard Depardieu is in both, but nothing else survives! The charm, the humor, the heart of the original is completely gone! Watch the French version instead and actually enjoy a movie worth your time.
