Fun as always, Final Destination is the perfect flick to pass the time with. The CGI in the first scene was too cartoonish, I was expecting it to be way more realistic now that we’re in 2025, I wanted more gnarliness but it felt a bit flat. However the rest of the movie had good death scenes. The plot was good, it used the self awareness of the tropes pretty well. I miss the soapy drama from the OG movies, but I still liked the character interactions in this film. Ending could’ve been better. And they gave a good send off to Tony Todd, RIP. I don’t even care if the studio decided to make this franchise into a cash grab, I will continue to watch as many Final Destinations as I can because it’s always fun to see the various freak accidents we could die from.
